Innocent Child

By Yogi Bhajan from The Game of Love
Innocent, innocent, innocent
The child.
Never to be angry.
Never to be hungry.
Future, future, future of you.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful too.

Don’t get caught in the wrath of God.
Love him.
Feel the child is sweet.
Don’t be a cannibal.
Don’t treat him like meat.
Child is tomorrow.
You are yesterday.
You are yesterday.
Child is tomorrow.
Give him the happiness, not the sorrow.

Child is child and a gift of God.
Sweetly smile in the even and odd.
Child is you and you are the child.
God in creation, groom and bride.
Let us heal,
Let us love.
Let us have the peace
Of the beautiful white dove.
