3HO REPRESENTATIVES ATTENDED THE 58TH ANNUAL Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Conference at the United Nations headquarters in New York City on September 7-9, 2005. New Mexico Governor Richardson Declares “Yogi Bhajan Memorial Day”

Espanola, NM—In an official state proclamation, New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson declared October 23, 2004, as “Yogi Bhajan Memorial Day.” Richardson announced the proclamation in front of thousands attending the memorial service for the Sikh leader who passed away on October 6 at age 75. After a private meeting with Bibi Inderjit Kaur, the widow of the holy man, Richardson addressed an international gathering of guests coming to pay respects to Yogi Bhajan.
