My Favorite Mantra: Ek Ong Kar Sat Nam Siri Wahe Guru
I have a great personal attachment and affection for this mantra, because Yogi Bhajan taught it to me in December of 1968, when my 19-year-old son was in serious trouble. Yogiji told me, “There is nothing more powerful in the world than the prayer of a mother for her son, and if you will chant this mantra for one hour before sunrise every day for 40 days, he will be all right.” I asked, “What about all the other things I’m doing, my Sufi visualization, my Hopi mantra, and my Vedanta meditation?” He said, “Fine, do them, but try this also.”…

Yogi Bhajan Quotes on Inner Guidance
Once you guide your mind, chanting the infinite truth and relating to the God consciousness within you, it settles you down for that state of mind to which you belong. ~Yogi Bhajan, May 12, 1974 Can you guide your life like a guiding star, self-propelled? ~Yogi Bhajan, June 25, 1987 The Guru is like a compass: it will tell you where the North Pole is and where you are in relationship to it, but it will not take you there. It sets up a relationship between you and your infinite consciousness so that you can have that guidance to follow…

The Adi Mantra & the Golden Chain of Kundalini Yoga
In Kundalini Yoga we always start a class or a personal practice with the Adi Mantra (Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo), chanting it three to five times. It is the first technology of a Kundalini Yoga student or teacher. Adi means the first or primal; mantra is the creative projection of the mind through sound.
This mantra is the first creative action. It centers you into the Higher Self and reminds your lower mind that it is not your ego that will practice or teach Kundalini Yoga.

Mahan Tantric
“In White Tantric Yoga energy is created en masse to purify the physical and mental bodies, and the soul, which is already pure, starts relating to the very existence of the being.” ~Yogi Bhajan, March 1972, Washington, D.C. One Mahan Tantric at a Time The following was written by SS Siri Brahma Singh Khalsa, Los Angeles, CA (who later married Sardarni Premka Kaur, now Pamela Dyson), and published in 1979 in the book, The Man Called the Siri Singh Sahib (a book compiled by Premka Kaur). “How can I learn to be alone and not get anxious or depressed?” with Mukta Kaur Khalsa
“Many times, we prevent ourselves from being alone because we’re insecure. We may always need somebody around — somebody to talk to, somebody to be with, somebody to keep our mind busy — so we don’t have to look within. But as we begin to work on ourselves, and as we begin to strengthen that relationship between me and my Creator — the One who gives me the breath of life, the One who maintains me, the One who sustains me — that humility gives us grace. It gives us the ability to say, ‘Thank you.’ And with that, we…

The thought of a cold shower first thing in the morning can be shocking at first (unless, of course, you’re one of the 43% of people worldwide without the luxury of hot water). Known as Ishnaan in the East, and popularized by Wim Hof, Tony Robbins, and the world of Kundalini Yoga, cold showers are a form of hydrotherapy with proven benefits for good health.
