A Gathering Rooted in Practice and Community

The Summer Solstice Sadhana Celebration is held over approximately nine days at Ram Das Puri in the beautiful high desert mountains of northern New Mexico. Its location offers a sacred backdrop where vast skies, fresh mountain air, and open spaces invite deep reflection and presence.

Participants come not only to practice but also to support each other in living consciously. This sense of shared purpose creates a powerful community field that nurtures authenticity and lifelong connection.

Because it brings together people from diverse backgrounds—including seasoned yogis, curious beginners, families, and seekers alike—Solstice becomes a place where every individual can feel both challenged and welcomed.

The Heart of Solstice: Sadhana and White Tantric Yoga®

At the core of the Summer Solstice experience lies sadhana—dedicated spiritual practice focused on meditation, movement, mantra, and breath. Each day begins in the early morning hours of the Amrit Vela, when the mind is most receptive to stillness. Participants gather under the stars for invigorating Kundalini Yoga, followed by Aquarian Sadhana with live music, sacred chanting, and prayer.

One of the most significant elements is White Tantric Yoga®, a powerful and profound meditation technique offered during the celebration. For three days, this practice supports deep psychological and emotional cleansing, helping participants dissolve barriers and open into greater joy, resilience, and inner peace.

Besides these focused practices, the Solstice schedule includes workshops, classes, and lectures taught by a global community of teachers—each offering unique insights that enrich the collective experience.

What You Will Experience

Most importantly, Summer Solstice is designed to nourish your body, mind, and spirit in an integrated way. Expect days filled with both quiet reflection and uplifting connection:

  • Kundalini Yoga & Meditation — Classes and sessions open to all levels.
  • White Tantric Yoga® Days — Deep meditation that supports inner growth.
  • Morning Sadhana under the Sky — Powerful group practice at Amrit Vela.
  • Sacred Music & Kirtan — Live concerts and chanting that elevate collective energy.
  • International Peace Prayer Day — A celebration of peace, music, and shared humanity.
  • Connection and Seva — Opportunities for meaningful service and community building.
  • Restorative Natural Setting — Space to detach from modern pressure, recharge, and return home with renewed purpose.

Because the celebration embodies simplicity and holistic living, participants often pause screen time, embrace vegetarian meals, and reconnect with nature to honor the rhythms of the body and soul.

The Power of Community

Summer Solstice is more than a personal retreat; it is a gathering where kindness, mutual support, and shared intention elevate the entire community. People form friendships that last a lifetime and discover a sense of belonging that transcends daily life.

Participants who engage in Karma Yoga—the practice of selfless service during the event—help keep the celebration running smoothly. Because of this shared contribution, the festival feels like a living expression of collective devotion.

Seva and simple acts of care, like offering a cup of tea or helping with a task, become part of a larger tapestry of shared spiritual commitment.

Who Is It For?

Whether you are new to yoga and meditation or have been practicing for many years, Summer Solstice offers a space for transformation, growth, and joy. Families can participate together—complete with youth programming—while adults dive into deep practice and shared reflection.

Because Solstice supports accessibility and nurture, hospitality teams are available throughout the event to answer questions, offer guidance, and ensure everyone feels welcome and safe.

Why Attend Summer Solstice?

At its essence, the Summer Solstice Sadhana Celebration is an invitation—to live more consciously, to serve with an open heart, and to strengthen your spiritual roots. It is a rare opportunity to step away from routine pressures and discover a season of growth, connection, and renewal.

Many participants return year after year because Solstice becomes a cherished marker of inner progress and community belonging. Through practice, intention, and shared experience, you are invited to return home more centered, more empowered, and more deeply connected to your purpose.

We want strength once a year to prove to our own selves how much we love each other. We want our gathering to be together. We want to see each other. We want to meet each other. We want to sing together. We want to face each others’ difficulties. We want to help each other. We want to love each other. We want to understand each other. We want to practice the mantra, Keep Up.
