Your Favorite Practice: Ishnaan, the Cold Shower

My name is Gurudein Singh, I’m from Chile. My favorite Kundalini practice is Ishnaan: Waking up in the morning and taking a cold shower.

Even when it’s like super difficult and you’re like freezing and everything. In the beginning it’s going to be super cold, but the after feeling is like, ‘I like it’ and I like want to keep on having it. So every time I finish in my shower I want to like come back to the cold shower to the cold water, and it gives me energy.

It wakes me up and it’s a good way to be focused towards what you want to do in the day.

So anytime I’m sleepy I always think, ‘Okay, should I take a cold shower?’, because it wakes me up and makes me look forward to what I want to do in the day.
