…And with Ram Das Puri, what ended up happening is that we were really looking for land near Española, because we had the ashram in Española. Before that, it was the ashram in Santa Fe, and then it moved to Española.

So we wanted it somewhere near there.

Yogi Ji really wanted it to be on the land around where we actually bought it, but the real estate agents were saying, “No, there’s nothing there. That’s only BLM land, and there’s also Native American land, but there’s no private land there.”

The Hopi had actually told him by that point that this was very sacred land up there, so he really wanted to do it there.

So he asked a little girl who was sitting around him. He told her, “What do you think?”

And she pointed on the map, right there, where it should be.

And that’s exactly where Yogi Bhajan was saying it should be.

So he said, “I really think that should be it.”

And he said, “Okay, we’ll find out if there’s any land.”
