Transcript:

The first Summer Solstice that 3HO was part of was actually not a 3HO event.

It was an event organized mainly by two hippie communes: the Hog Farm and the Juke Savages.

A lot of the people in these communes, especially in the Juke Savages, were students of Yogi Ji.

He had a pink turban because that day he had lost all of his clothes, so he was borrowing clothes from other people.

Really, it wasn’t all about Kundalini Yoga. Kundalini Yoga was just part of the day.

Yogi Bhajan also officiated weddings there and gave talks.

Then, the next Solstice, in 1970, was the first one that we organized.

The first 3HO Solstice event began in one location, which was Santa Clara Canyon.

But, you know, we were very different from what people expected.

Your experience is important!
