Kriya to Know Through Intuition

The Kriya to Know Through Intuition develops your ability to open to the Unknown through intuition and sensitivity. It is an excellent kriya to develop intuition and prepare for powerful prayer.

“It’s called intertwined action. On one side, you are only rough and tough in a certain area, and that becomes the antenna, and rest of the body has to totally relax so it can receive.”- Yogi Bhajan

Remember to tune in with the  Adi Mantra  (“Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo”) before all Kundalini Yoga practice, and end with the “Long Time Sun Shine” song.

Before you begin your practice, tune-in by chanting the mantra Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo

One Minute Breath

This exercise, done with the One Minute Breath, links the Heart Center, the Arcline, and your projection. Feel your magnetic field and Aura as you meditate. Establish an open, sensitive, and unlimited field.

Posture: Sit in Easy Pose with the spine straight. Place the left hand in front of the Heart Center with the palm facing down and the forearm parallel to the ground. Straighten the right arm and raise it to a 60-degree angle in front of the body. The elbow is tight and straight. Face the right palm down with the fingers together, thumb relaxed.

Eyes: Close the eyes.

Breath: Breathe slowly and honestly. Work up to breathing only one breath per minute (20 seconds inhale, 20 seconds hold, 20 seconds exhale). Feel a Divine Presence surround you.

Because the center point of your nervous system is in your armpit, mind you, and you are creating a balance in your triple nervous system. It is the biggest acupuncture you are doing to your body… the biggest pain, [it] will be so much….it is going to work on your pineal, that little stone in the brain. So take my word for it, pain will be tremendous, and the brain will start creating morphine, anti-pain release by the brain shall come. So welcome the pain and love it.” —Yogi Bhajan

Time

Continue for 11 minutes. To end, Inhale deep, then deeper, and hold the breath tight. Squeeze the body and spread this pain all over in the body. Hold for 15 seconds, then exhale. Repeat 2 more times, holding the last breath for 25 seconds. Relax and move the hands, torso, shoulders, and rib cage for 1 to 2 minutes.
