Experiencing the Original You

This kriya gives depth, strength, and helps awaken the Original Self.

Before you begin your practice, tune-in by chanting the mantra Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo

Reverse Elbow Lock

Posture: Sit in easy pose.

Mudra: Interlace your fingers and turn the mudra so that the palms face outward. This is called reverse elbow lock. Extend your arms straight out in front of you with no bend in the elbows. Stay steady and do not raise or lower your arms once you are in position.

Eye Focus: The eyes are focused at the tip of the nose.

Breath: Try to breathe only one breach per minute. lnhale for 20 seconds, hold for 20 seconds and exhale for 20 seconds. (If needed, you can gradually build up to 20 seconds.)

If you have problems with your stomach and digestion, your elbows may hurt or be uncomfortable in this exercise.

Time

Continue this long, slow, deep breath for 3 minutes.
