Kriya to Make You Enchantingly Beautiful

Beauty is a radiance of soul that shines through the physical appearance and beyond. This series is meant to elevate you and gives you a new inflow of energy.

Before you begin your practice, tune-in by chanting the mantra Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo

Spine Flex Variation

This exercise is said to purify the blood, strengthen the nervous system and help prevent back and shoulder pain.

Posture: Sit on the heels in Rock Pose. Put the palms flat on the ground outside of the knees, a little to the front. Pull the neck up, spine straight. You should look just like one of those little Buddhist temple lions.

Breath & Movement: Begin flexing the spine to its maximum capacity, keeping the elbows straight. Inhale, flex forward, exhale powerfully, flex backward. Keep a steady rhythm. The forehead may get hot and the spine start to sweat.

Time

Continue for 3 minutes. Then Move immediately into the next exercise.

Yoga Mudra

You may find a rosy glow in your cheeks after this exercise.

Posture: Still in Rock Pose, interlace the fingers behind the back at the base of the spine with palms facing the head. Straighten the arms and lift as high as you can.

Time

Continue for 2 minutes. Then inhale, exhale, and relax.
