Akal Dayal Yatra

English

“Yatra is a holy journey.  We must go into the center, the heart center.  It is a journey on earth to one’s ‘Isht’- one’s higher self, one’s altar. It is a self-purification.” ~Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan

2025 marks the 350th year anniversary of the Martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur and the ascendancy of Guru Gobind Singh to the Guruship.

Sikh Dharma is marking this historical event by hosting the Akal Dayal Yatra – a historical and spiritual journey to join the world in celebrating the ultimate sacrifice by Guru Tegh Bahadur on behalf of religious freedom everywhere.

We will celebrate these momentous historical events with the Global Sangat by meeting together in Amritsar where we will meditate at the Golden Temple and experience, firsthand, the amazing city founded by Guru Ram Das ji

After bowing our heads in Amritsar and having the opportunity to rest from our respective journeys, we will be travelling to Dashmesh Sadan in Anandpur Sahib. Here we will stay at Yogi Bhajan’s beautiful home in the shadow of the Naina Devi Mountain. We will spend several days in Anandpur Sahib exploring the area, immersing ourselves in meditation and joining multitudes of devoted pilgrims in visiting the holy places of Guru Tegh Bahadur and his son Guru Gobind Singh.

This is a spiritual yatra and you will encounter India as a devotee, not as a tourist.  It is a chance to embrace India in the company of those people who meditate on the Naam.

We invite you to join us for this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Space is limited, so REGISTER SOON!

Before booking your flight, and for more information, please contact Guruprakash Singh at [email protected] or +1-505-629-1562 (extension #3).
