Navneet Kaur Khalsa, LCSW worked in the field of social work since 1979. Her professional career was focused on working with children and families involved in the child welfare system. She had extensive experience providing counseling and supervising therapists who work with children who have experienced severe trauma. Her work included serving families affected by substance abuse, domestic violence, and poverty. Navneet Kaur provided training to child welfare workers across the nation with the goal of improving services provided to these vulnerable children and families. Navneet Kaur practiced yoga for over 16 years and was a Certified Kundalini yoga teacher. Navneet Kaur was the Curriculum Development Coordinator for the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine and Humanology. She led a team to develop the 1000-hour Yoga Therapy program for Kundalini Yoga teachers. Navneet Kaur passed away in 2022 and is survived by her husband, two dogs, and five wonderful children.
