How to Choose an Exercise, Exercise Set, Kriya or Meditation

Q: I am interested to do one kriya for 40 days. Kindly advise which chakra it is better to start with.
Q: Can I work on 2 chakras on the same day?
Q: Is it effective if I do kriya for 3rd chakra and finish with mantra for 4th chakra?

Yogi Bhajan shared such an immense wealth of technology to elevate the human experience, that simply the thought of recording and organizing it all is an exercise in mind expansion!

The most precious and potent thing contained within all questions of “What to do?” is that we are consciously choosing to challenge ourselves and improve some or all aspects of our being. Once that question is asked, the blessing that you now bestow upon yourself is automatic and guaranteed. That is just how Mother Nature takes care of her creatures.

Regarding the specifics of the questions above, generally one might consider starting with the lowest chakra and moving up, or working to strengthen, stimulate, or balance any specific chakras that might require attention for any number of reasons. There are also kriyas that work on several or all of the chakras. You can work on more than one chakra in the same day, and you can do a kriya for one chakra and a meditation for another chakra.

A more general answer to these questions would be to work on any technologies that increase your intuition. Yogi Bhajan said,

“Sometimes you ask, ‘Which meditation will work out?’ Every meditation will work out!”

He always encouraged us to strengthen and rely on intuition with comments like:

“Awareness takes these things away from you: thinking, reason, logic, argument, fantasies, planning, scheming, knowing and worrying. These nine things must go before you can say that you are on the path of awareness.”

Be confident that if you are asking questions of this nature, you are elevating your body, mind, and spirit, you are bringing celestial light and warmth to your destiny, and your radiance is working to elevate everyone around you. You are blessed.
