Nowadays, we are often not great at listening or paying attention. Even when we try our best, it’s easy to become distracted by personal intent, emotion, or disposition. Conscious listening is the act of being fully present during a communication exchange between oneself and another.
Japji, also known as the Song of the Soul, is the love of my life. After about three months of daily chanting, one Sunday morning I felt bliss-the kind of bliss that makes you realize that all is well and always will be, like a message from God wrapped up in a physical, cellular experience of heaven.
Jap means to repeat, and Ji means soul. The repetition of Japji gives you a consistent projection and allows you to access your own infinite source of inspiration and depth.
