When to arrive

Check-in opens the morning of December 16th, 2025. Please don’t arrive earlier, as the site will not be open to participants.

Nearest airports

Flying is the easiest way to get to Winter Solstice! Orlando International (MCO) is your best bet—just over an hour from the venue. Grab a rental car, taxi, or rideshare and you’re on your way to Camp Gan Israel Florida.

Orlando International (MCO)

  • Just about a 1 hr 10 min drive (98 km) south on FL-46/CR-448A.
  • Plenty of car rentals, Uber/Lyft, and taxis right at the airport.

Orlando Sanford (SFB)

  • Around 55 min (77 km) via US-441—perfect if you’re catching a regional flight.
  • Smaller crowds, faster security; car rentals and taxis onsite.

Tampa International (TPA)

  • A scenic 2-hour drive (185 km) west on I-4—great for budget airlines.

Major train/bus stations

Prefer to stay grounded? Take an Amtrak train or Greyhound bus to Orlando, then catch a rideshare or shuttle to the event. It’s a smooth and scenic option if you’re coming from nearby cities.

Amtrak at Orlando Station

  • Hop on the Silver Meteor or Silver Star for a relaxed ride—about 1 hr 10 min by car or rideshare to the camp.

Greyhound at Orlando Bus Terminal

  • Lots of routes from around Florida and beyond; combine with a car rental or rideshare for the final leg.

Visa & Entry Requirements

Traveling to the United States for Winter Solstice? Here’s what you need to know.

Most participants from abroad will need a valid passport and may also require a tourist visa (B-2) to enter the U.S. Check the U.S. State Department website to see if your country is part of the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) or if you’ll need to apply for a visa in advance.

If You Need a Visa:

  • Apply at your local U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
  • Allow at least 4–6 weeks for processing (depending on where you live)
  • Be prepared to show your reason for travel, ties to your home country, and financial resources.

Need an Invitation Letter?

3HO is happy to provide an official invitation letter to support your visa application. This letter will confirm your participation in the 3HO Winter Solstice Sadhana Celebration 2025.

To request a letter, email us at: [email protected] with your full name (as on passport), nationality, and a screenshot or receipt of your event registration.

Important: Entry to the U.S. is determined by border officials. Having a visa or an invitation letter does not guarantee admission.

Make sure your travel documents are valid for at least 6 months beyond your planned stay in the U.S., and check for any transit visa requirements if you’re flying through another country.
