Kriya to Communicate and Create Companionship

Part I

Put your left hand over your Heart Center. Put your right hand out, palm to palm with your partner. As you speak, touch hands with your partner. Whenever you speak, as the lips move, the hands must create the same effect. Let the movement of your hands reflect the movement of your lips and the movement of your conversation. Say good things. Communicate and create companionship. Practice, practice for the experience.

Posture: Sit in Easy Pose as though you were a great yogi, who has sat for 200 years at the top of the mountain, through snow, through rain, and through time-and never budged an inch.

Mudra: Not specified.

Mantra: This mantra is a special sound. It is a lesson in the creation of sounds that can melt the hearts of people.

Use only the tip of the tongue. Speak evenly, with a slight emphasis on Re. (Re is chanted a half-step note higher than Har.) Feel that when you speak, you are communicating directly, face to face with Almighty God. When you utter these words. it's a communication with the Infinite, most beautiful thing which is called God. Whatever your image is of God, communicate with that. It may not mean anything to anyone else: but it means all to you.

This kriya can be found in Man to Man.

Companionship comes from genuine communication, not from trying control a situation or the other person. When we try to control we may feel a temporary "win," but at the expense of losing connection with Self. This kriya helps to develop real communication and a sense of companionship.

It is designed to be done in a class setting, but may also be practiced with a partner at home by reading the affirmations instead of repeating them.
