Numerology Forecast for August 2025: Catch Your Breath with the Pranic Body

We have a definitive change of season in our new month of August 2025, and it couldn’t come at a better time. Now we can catch our breath, and from there gain a new momentum towards shattering the shackles of a draining Mercury retrograde. How many ghosts from the past can you release at one time? Well, you’ll have to keep count for yourself, as it is a very personal affair.
The number 8 of August represents the themes of energy, power, finance, healing, and the ability to let go of old fears. Nearly everyone will be going through the experience of, “Am I really going to let this hold me back for the rest of my life?” There is great opportunity in this moment, and you can change the trajectory of your life by having a heart-to-heart talk with yourself. Gentle structure will help in this process, and exercise is keynote to shifting the landscape. Number 8 is the breath, and in physiology 8 represents the lungs. With a full lung capacity, we are strong and resilient, having energy to spare. There is a “bounce back” quality to a strong Pranic Body, which is the domain of the number 8.

With plenty of summer left in the sands of the hourglass, get going into nature and outdoor activities. The Yogis have a saying, “Anything which is rhythmic is happy.” Wow, there’s a whole lot of wisdom in that statement! We’ve all had the experience of synchronistic energy that feels electric and effective. There is a luckiness bordering on magic in the flow of our psyche connecting with our higher purpose in the world. Now is the time to catch that magic, and I will share with you a specific technique for that in a little bit.
The Lions Gate Portal & Powerful Days Ahead
Okay, 8-8-Lions Gate just around the corner! August 8th of 2025 actually does hold a very powerful healing portal for the clearing of past trauma. This is an excellent day for participating in a yoga or meditation class, drumming circle, swimming or snorkeling in an ocean or lake, sweat lodge cleanse, or meditating by a waterfall. Another option is filling your bathtub with water and adding in Epsom salts and eucalyptus oil. Light candles and have relaxing music playing as you affirm, “I am cleansed of the past, all karmic cords are cleared; I now rest gently in the light of my Guardian Angel. The protected path has appeared, all is well in my world.”
We have a pocket full of auspicious days this month, and they are the 2nd, 11th, 20th, and 29th.
On these days, initiate something for yourself or a business, as it can bring a wind of good fortune to the equation.
Number 8 is the Air Element, and there will be a ‘blustery” effect in the weather throughout the month. Keep your wits about you in any ocean travel plans, because the hurricane season will be intense this year. Staying closer inland is a good idea.
Navigating the Winds of Power and Emotion
The Air Element is our friend when we breathe deep and get going. By holding a positive projective psyche, you can make progress in areas that previously seemed deadlocked. After the 9th of August is a time of more effective communication, as long as you don’t slip into “old-script” power plays. Eight is the power number, and when it goes into the negative polarity, it can be bossy or aggressive. Be aware of this potential in your dealings with others, and try to use defusing dialogue like, “Hey, I know you’re used to getting your way, but I’d like to reach a solution that’s sustainable for everyone. Let’s work together to create something that everyone can live with.” Getting it right now helps to avoid having to reinvent the wheel further down the road; especially if the wheel gets stuck in a rut of people’s resentment or dissatisfaction. In our overall number 9 year, don’t let pockets of resentment fester and brew, as it could potentially reemerge in November as a force to be reckoned with.

Number 9 in the positive polarity has the ability to anticipate emotional winds of change and make a course correction. The expression, “Nip it in the bud’ is appropriate here, as you don’t want to allow for a creeping vine of vengeance to emerge from the shadows. Nine can have a shadowy quality to it, where things lie in wait for the right surprise moment. You will have the edge over any subversive stealth energy by sitting quietly and asking yourself, “What does my Subtle Body have to say about this; what might be hidden between the lines?” This simple slowdown technique can save you from the tripwire hidden beneath the leaves.
Sneak Preview: The month of September has a unique quality to it, in that any emotional unfinished business can reappear like an uninvited guest at a wedding. We will be seeing this primarily in the headline news; however, make the extra effort to keep your side of the street clean now, and you will avoid this inconvenience. Or, just hire a Bouncer for your wedding.
Awaken Your Power Through Prana and Presence
So, what’s this technique that is going to free me from my old fears? It’s the “Developing the Pranic Energy” meditation. Short on time? No worries, as this pranayam is so powerful it can only be practiced for 5 minutes. That’s it, that’s all it takes. It is said of this practice that, “It will change you completely. It changes the way you think. It takes away tension.” Well, I cannot think of a better 5-minute investment of time for such a stellar result.
We all typically want more power, and yet it can be an elusive dance partner. The Yogis have a saying, “Your power is what you can spare.” Wow, that flips the paradigm. Now, power is what you can graciously extend to others. And this my friends, is the real deal, as it creates what is called “circular energy.” Circular energy is where you give from your effortless abundance and it is returned to you in the most perfectly tailored way. The cleverness of the mind is dropped, and the Universal Intelligence takes hold of the sail line and catches the wind of good fortune for you. This is called “Sahej Yog,” or the easy way.
Seeing Emotions with New Eyes
Speaking of the easy way, here’s a suggestion that will help you to understand the realm of emotion in a whole new light. It’s the 2015 Pixar movie “Inside Out,” an enormously creative, funny, and intellectually clever work of art. Engaging for both children and adults, there is a very strong yogic component to the storyline and dialogue. Yes, really! Winner of the 2015 Golden Globe for Best Animated Film, it is visually engaging and unique. Our lives are often run by our emotions, and it can be difficult at times to break free from all the self-affirming internal dialogue we slip into. Taking a step outside yourself and observing things from a different angle can be just the perspective you need to make a change. It really can be just that easy.
Make a point to treat yourself to an event or activity that renews your spirit—whether it be a concert, day trip adventure, spa renewal afternoon, Sound Bath event, foot reflexology treatment, or whatever sparks your interest. Invest in yourself so you can have the experience of, “Ah, life is good again!”
May good fortune take you by the hand and guide you on the path of your heart’s fulfillment, and may this newfound joy bring you the awakening of your Soul’s divine purpose.
