“Be careful what you pray for, because it just might come true,” could be the motto for the month of April. Our words have an amplified power of potency at this time, and this power can be used for better or worse.
The tipping point of this equation will be our Neutral Mind. The Neutral Mind is the third stage of the thought process, following the Negative and Positive Minds, where we ask the question, “What is the neutral, balanced, and protected course of action?”
If your words and actions do not follow these three criteria, you might end up in a drama that will take an enormous amount of energy to disentangle from.
In the world of hunting, there is something called a “snare.” A snare is a type of concealed trap. Sometimes when the hunter is particularly clever, there will be a lure, or bait, connected to the snare. This is to entice the prey to draw closer. At this time, unless you develop and maintain a heightened sense of awareness, you could find yourself hanging upside down, dangling from the rope of your own carelessness.
April is not a time for a cavalier approach to life, it is a time for measured precision. Also, do not skip steps, or assume the other person understands your subtle cues. Be thorough, and get important communications in writing (email, etc.).
At this point you are probably thinking, “Well, April sounds like a real pain in the ass, let’s just skip ahead to May.” Well kids, the reason I am telling you all this now is so you don’t suffer the consequence of your misspoken words or actions next month. There is a linked energy in the next three months, and you don’t want to end up on the dark side of Pluto because of mishandling a situation that could have been sorted out now.
There is a way we can leverage the heightened “power of the word” at this time, and that is through mantra. All mantras are good, and one that is especially effective now is, “Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru,” chanted 5x’s on one breath. This is a special version given by Yogi Bhajan for emergency saving grace. What is also brilliant about this meditation is that it balances the 5 Tattvas (Earth, Air, Water, Fire, Ether).
The reason people over-react, or misbehave, is often because of an imbalance in one or more of the elements in their physiology. If you are in balance, then your presence automatically helps to neutralize a situation.
“If your presence doesn’t work, nothing works.”
On the sunny side of the street for this month, we have the number 11 in the Heart calculation. Everyone will be looking for a “higher love,” something untainted, pure, and real. Many cosmic events and gatherings are happening throughout the month, so be sure to get yourself out to a concert, spiritual retreat, sweat lodge, etc. If you don’t flex your spiritual muscles this month, you will end up feeling “emotionally claustrophobic.” This is a state where nothing feels right, and there is a relentless underlying aggravation running through the mind.
Get out, do some new things, meet some new people. Otherwise you may end up taking it out on those near you, or vice-versa.
Remember, number 9 is the most intense number, and we are in a 9 year (2+0+1+6=9). This can create polarization, and an intensification of what is called the “Have’s and the Have Not’s.”
People often think of this expression in terms of money, however, it is more aptly applied to the realm of energy. Ask yourself, “Do I have the energy to take care of myself in a kind and loving way?” Or, “Do I have the extra energy to come through on this promise?” And, most importantly, “Do I really, have what it takes to maintain this new person I’m considering in my life?”
Because, Dear Ones, if you let the wrong person in, too close, right now, you will be kicking and screaming about it in May.
That last piece of advice was worth all the tea in China, just so you know.
Okay, on to other cosmic bubbles of wit and wonder. Use this time to set a base for the remainder of the year. Say to yourself, “I set my base, strong and steady, to support myself and my radiant presence in the world.” Use this statement as your personal touchstone for what you do, and how you conduct yourself in the flow of your day.
Take one day at a time, and secure yourself with 11 minutes of the Guru Ram Das mantra. Sometimes we need to “link up” with a power greater than our individual self.
The realm of the Angels and Spiritual Masters is very available to us this year, as number 9 is the number of “Mastery over Mystery.” Call in your spiritual “co-pilots” to help you navigate the days ahead. Experience their presence by allowing a space in your heart for divine guidance.
