Guru Ram Das Rhythmic Harmony for Happiness Meditation

This meditation creates a sense of meditative peace. Practice it and notice how your entire surroundings feel the vibratory effect.

The mantra calls on the wisdom of Guru Ram Das, the 4th of the Sikh Gurus, who has also been nicknamed the Lord of Miracles. The energy of Guru Ram Das is that of healing, protection, and making the impossible possible. By living in harmony with our highest values, the universe manifests everything we need in turn.

The Practice

Posture: Sit in any peaceful, meditative pose.

Eyes: Keep the eyes 1/16 open.

Mantra: Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru

Chant in a soft monotone. Each repetition takes about 8 to 10 seconds.

Mudra: The hand positions were given differently for men and women, so choose according to your identification. Male-identifying folks form Shuni Mudra with the left hand (thumb and middle finger touch), and Surya Mudra with the right hand (thumb and ring finger touch). Female-identifying folks reverse the mudras. Rest the hands on the knees.

Continue for 3 - 31 minutes.

This mantra is meant to vibrate in your lips, your upper palate, your tongue, and your entire surroundings. It is a mantra for miraculous healing and manifestation.
