Posture: Sit in Easy Pose, maintain a straight spine, and lean the torso as far back as possible.
Mudra: Bend the fingertips to the base of the fingers and extend the thumbs (Ego Eradicator Mudra). Lift the hands up at a 90-degree angle. The upper arms are out to the sides, parallel to the ground.
Breath: Inhale completely in 4 equal parts; exhale all the breath from the lungs in 4 equal parts.
Eyes: 1/10th open.
Mantra: Sohang, which translates as, “I am That Infinite.” Mentally vibrate So on each part of the inhale (So, So, So, So) and mentally vibrate Hang (pronounced “hung”) with each part of the exhale (Hang, Hang, Hang, Hang).
Time: Continue for 3 minutes maximum at any one practice time.
To end: At the end of the meditation, bend forward at the waist, resting the head on the ground.
"This is a very powerful exercise. Tomorrow I don' t know whether you'll be on the Moon or on Venus. It is a super transcendental meditation. Whether or not you understand what meditation is, is not important. Get into the posture and let God take care of you." - Yogi Bhajan
