Meditation for Protection and Projection from the Heart

This meditation gives you an enchanting, magnetic personality and many unexpected friends. The Mangala Charn Mantra surrounds the magnetic field with protective light.

Posture: Sit in an Easy Pose with a light jalandhar bandh.

Mudra: Place the palms together at the Heart Center in Prayer Pose. The thumbs are crossed.

Mantra, Breath & Movement: Chant the Mangala Charn Mantra:

Ad Guray Nameh,

Jugad  Guray Nameh,

Sat Guray Nameh,

Siri  Guru  Devay Nameh

Inhale at heart center to begin. Chant the first line as the  arms move up and out to a 45 degree angle.


Inhale as the  hands move back to the heart center. Continue 3 more  times to complete the mantra. 

Each time the arms move up and out as you chant, then return to the heart center as you  inhale. The full extension of the arms is timed to the chant.  

Proiect the mind out as you chant. 

Time: Tne repetition of this Mangala Charn pranayam takes 15  seconds. Continue for 11 minutes, adding 5 minutes per day up to 31 minutes until you perfect it.
