Aad Guray Nameh

This is a mantra of protection. It invokes a light shield and stimulates an alert mind to avoid accidents.

This mantra is part of the Triple Mantra. Many people chant this mantra at any time when they might need extra protection. Recite this mantra before driving a car to delay yourself by nine seconds, so that you fail to show up on time for a fated accident.

Yogi Bhajan also taught that this mantra can be chanted, optionally, three times in a row after tuning in to a class with the Adi Mantra, providing a protective mind set.

It is also often chanted three times at the beginning of a meeting to invoke the group protective mind and thwart potential volatility from misunderstanding.

"When you cannot be protected, this mantra shall protect you. When things stop, and won't move, this makes them move in your direction.”
