Serving on the 3HO Board of Directors

3HO International is looking to grow our Board of Directors to include more diverse voices and talents to support our mission. 3HO’s mission is to inspire everyone everywhere to realize their full potential through the uplifting experience of Kundalini Yoga.

The mission of the 3HO Board is to provide stewardship of 3HO’s organizational and financial well-being through mentorship and guidance, to acquire support through personal connections, and to act as ambassadors to promote the vision and mission of 3HO International.

GOALS FOR 2022
For 2022, our goals are to:

  • Create more digital experiences
  • Build trust through honoring connections, transparency, and communications
  • Create solutions to support our community that are unique to this current time
  • Re-envision and offer future in-person events

QUALIFICATIONS
We are actively looking for people who meet many of the following criteria:

  • Active interest in 3HO’s mission and dedication to serve it
  • Intellectual capacity to understand the business governed by the board
  • Interpersonal skills to work well with the other board members
  • Instinct and good judgment for making strategic decisions
  • Commitment to enthusiastically put in the time that is needed to help 3HO grow
  • Financial ability to attend meetings; this is a totally voluntary position
  • Time availability 6-8 hours Board & committee meetings online every quarter, 2 days in person or online for annual agenda meeting
  • Prosperity consciousness to be a personal donor to 3HO
  • Networking skills to be an ambassador for 3HO
  • Fundraising skills
  • Integrity to do what is right for the organization to represent our mission and vision
  • Kundalini Yoga practice for at least 3 years
  • Familiarity with the business of yoga (teachings, workshops, running a center, producing and/or selling products, etc.), especially digital and marketing experiences
  • Prior board experience
  • Broad geographical representation outside of the US
  • Experience in legal or corporate compliance matters
  • Financial skills and analysis – ability and experience in understanding and analyzing financial reports
  • Proficiency in English - both written and spoken
