Yogic Living: Attitude of Gratitude

To be grateful is to be great and to be full—full of greatness. In Kundalini Yoga, the attitude of gratitude is the highest way of living.

"The attitude of gratitude is yoga. Ingratitude is “unyoga,” like “uncola.” Where gratitude is, there is yoga. Where there is ingratitude, yoga is gone. That mind which does not live in gratitude is just like a junkyard. There are great cars there, but they don’t work; they are useless, because they are junk. What are you without gratitude?" -Yogi Bhajan

Everything in our lives comes from the hand of the One. It is Divine to observe what we have and to give thanks for it all. Even when difficulties come, there is something to appreciate. Having a sense of gratitude puts us in touch with the preciousness of life.

Think about everything you can give thanks for—all your blessings and all your challenges. Can you discover the hidden gifts, even in the most difficult moments? How can you make it a part of your practice to appreciate everything in your life? Living with an attitude of gratitude opens doors to opportunities we can't foresee.

This month, 3HO invites you to explore the incredible gifts that come into your life when you create a habit to be grateful.
