Solstice Youth Camp

Sat Nam,

Our hearts go out to each of you at this time of great upheaval and challenge. We're sending you our wishes of health for yourself, all your loved ones, your communities, and the world.

In response to the public health challenge and uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, we have decided to cancel all of our in-person events for 2020: Summer Solstice Sadhana Celebration, International Women's Camp, Khalsa Youth Camp and now, most recently, Winter Solstice Sadhana Celebration.

We will, however, be holding space for two virtual events: a 1-day September e-Equinox on the 19th, as well as a 3-day December e-Solstice Summit.

We have enjoyed supporting our community online with Kundalini Yoga and look forward to continuing to do so through these future events and our other channels.

Best Wishes,

The 3HO Foundation Team

For children ages 3-17

Welcome! Solstice Youth Camp (SYC) is a powerful opportunity for children to feed both their spirit and their sense of fun, while learning ancient yogic teachings that build strong bodies and strong character.

At Summer Solstice, people from all over the world gather together at Ram Das Puri to purify and uplift their consciousness on sacred land.  Give your child the opportunity to dwell in that frequency, be free, learn and connect with their peers. Yogi Bhajan said that one of the primary reasons for all people, children included, to come to the Solstices was to feel each other.  Solstice Youth Camp provides that opportunity.

SYC was designed for both parents and children in mind. It is a Camp Co-operative, which means that the parents help run the camp.  Everyone at solstice does Karma Yoga, or self-less service, everyday during camp.  For all parents, you do your Karma Yoga in SYC, helping out in various ways.

Resources, programs and support are available to parents, babies, toddlers, children and teens. See the following sections for more information:

“Create dependable children, not dependent children.  Give your children the basic value to face their own tomorrow, without being blinded by yours.  Enable them to have strong personalities, not be helpless puppets.  Position them for success, don’t paralyze them with the commotion of your emotions.”  - Yogi Bhajan
