The month of May brings a new wave of energy to the planet, and we are now able to move forward again, guided by a momentum of higher spirit and expansion. There’s a restlessness in the air, and we are no longer willing to settle for our previous lot in life. We want more, and we want it now!
The number 5 screams, “Give me Freedom!” and it is the urge to express, change, move, evolve, and shake things up that will be spinning the wheels of our creative forces and vision. There is a daring quality to the energy at play now, a sense of urgency to heed the call of previously denied desires and ambitions. We all want something more, and there must be a way to get it!
Yes, “Seek and Ye Shall Find,” could be part of the ethereal GPS voice-stream, and the number 5 of May encourages in us a very experiential approach to our life’s journey.
Five is the physical body, and we must challenge ourselves physically in order to “wake-up,” and shake off last month’s dust of despair. April 2017 was one of the most intense months ever, a near brutal barrage of conflict and turmoil.
You gotta: Hike it, Swim it, Walk it, Spin it, Shake it off. Just get moving! The physical exertion is necessary as a therapy for your Soul. It is part of how you can begin to feel in control again, in a healthy way.
If you don’t follow this advice, you’ll find yourself getting super-cranky and will likely take out your frustration on others. Your computer has a “Refresh” button, so hit the trails to refresh your Soul.
The hidden gift in this month is the ability to become aware that no one is holding you back anymore. If you are living in a prison of echos from the past, it’s time to get out.
You can do this, and the higher forces will help you if you do your part.
It is now time for a “Spring-Reset.” We need to reset our energy field so that we can best navigate and enjoy the second half of the year. May is the time to declare, “Come what may, I will be healthy, balanced, and alert for the rest of 2017.”
A personal space of balance and alertness is now required of every human being. The overall number for 2017 is a 10, and number 10 represents the theme, “All or Nothing!” Now that we clearly know this is a year of wildly vacillating extremes, what should we do?
Well, you’re reading the right numerology report, because I’ve got the answer!
Back in the good ol’ days of Yogi Bhajan’s travel and classes, he would often allow people to ask him a personal question after the class. Right after the “Long Time Sunshine” song people would steadily make their way to his teaching bench, and find their place in line.
Yours truly was in that line, as a young lady in her 20’s, waiting to ask a very important question. In Yogi Bhajan’s response to my question he said, “Not too much, not too little.”
I never forgot this, as my Soul number (day of birth) is a 10, and number 10 can have the tendency to get wildly fanatical and over compensate, or not want to do anything at all.
This calendar year has an impetuous push and drive to it at times, and that energy must be properly channeled and managed. Another great Yogi Bhajan quote is:
“Either you ride the wave, or the wave rides you.”
This is the black and white, nuts and bolts of it my dear ones. There is no magic formula for you to find or discover, other than:
“The balance and flow of your own psyche, synchronized with the Universal intelligence, will carry you through.”
May is the month of the “wake-up call,” when you have the opportunity to wake yourself up, so the environments do not have to do it for you. Please do not interpret this in a harsh or unkind light, all the help you need is available as you choose to step out of the familiar cocoon of what is no longer really working.
Despite the headlines, it is a kind and loving world when we choose to focus on the good, and gather with others of a similar mind-set.
Number 5 additionally represents flexibility and endurance, and it is a special kind of endurance that is required to transit the rest of this year. If you need a little inspiration, my movie recommendation of the month is, “The Karate Kid.”
Whether you watch the original 1984 version, or the excellent 2010 remake, this film is a stellar example of grace, dignity, honor, and strength under fire. Watch this movie with your children, and have a family discussion on how each of you can begin some type of personal practice to instill these virtues. Children who have this kind of guidance and support never fail later in life. Chuck the video games, it’s time to get real.
May the Light of all that is gracious and pure hold you ever so dearly, and your Heavenly Angels take you by the hand and guide your way home. Sat Nam.
