You know that feeling you sometimes get that things are just not right, but you don't really know why not?
Did you ever notice how many times you get a great idea, but then you think 'that will never work'?
Have you ever had an ache in your heart to just leave it all behind, to finally start doing what you really want to do?
It is said that the amount of pain or discomfort we experience in life, is in direct proportion to how far away we are from our true self.
So I'd like to ask you to take a quick look back on your life and remember a time, perhaps just a fleeting moment in your past, when you felt so good, so happy—just being you. Go on, think about it. Do you remember? I hope you get that mental picture and feel that feeling.
That's the feeling you get hearing the care-free laughter of children at play;
that's the feeling you get when you wake up refreshed and ready for the day;
that's the feeling you get when you have the strength to deal with whatever comes at you in life; that's the feeling you get when you clearly see what you want and go get it—or even better let it come to you.
That's the feeling I get, every day. And this is how I got it:
By learning to change my body posture, my breathing patterns, and my thought vibration, I learned to quiet my mind. As I became physically stronger, I became emotionally balanced and self (with a capital S) centered.
As I became able to enjoy stillness and let my senses speak to me, I became more heart and less head. As I became more aware, the things that had been holding me back disappeared.
Because I was becoming more me with a capital M, I was able to address lifestyle addictions and change negative behaviors.
It didn't happen overnight and it wasn't always pleasant. But in time, as I left my emotional baggage behind me, I felt lighter and noticed a lasting clarity of mind and wellbeing of body.
And finally, I came out of the closet and admitted that I had been living behind a facade, so I took off the masks that I had been using to define myself. Things began to change almost automatically, life with a capital L began to follow my heart and I could just be me.
So now, let me take you back to the memory of that feeling from your past. Feel that feeling again.
Feel again how good it felt to just be you and imagine you being 'just you' right now...without emotional baggage, without pain and discomfort, sure of who you are and what you want from life, heart and mind in alignment; discovering your true passion, your personal excellence, and your commitment to live out your own truth; knowing you can come out of the closet and take off the masks.
So if you're ready to become just you again, call me. Because what got me out of the closet was a daily practice of Kundalini Yoga—and it can get you out too.
