Facing Cancer with the Help of Kundalini Yoga

2022This project was born from my personal experience in the oncology field.
I am a Kundalini Yoga, Gatka and Music Therapy teacher and after I got sick with Lymphoma I practiced Yogi Bhajan’s teachings and I have integrated them with conventional and integrative medicine.
During this period I understood that not all Kriya or pranayama techniques can be practiced by oncology patients and that each individual needs a personal practice that respects their own body.
Unlike hospital protocols, in which all cancer patients are included within the same protocols, with this project, I want to give importance to the uniqueness of each person who requires, on the contrary, a diagnosis and treatment that is completely personal.
In private or group lessons, it is not the disease that is the main character but, rather, the individual people, with their own physical, emotional and mental needs.
In this journey, I met with specialist doctors in the oncology field, to evaluate what I was doing and what I wanted to propose to other patients. That is how I started my service to help people; how I support those who are experiencing a delicate moment in their life, at an oncological level, during which they are involved in a process of a great transformation.
Illness is an opportunity and if we understand the richness of the message it brings, we can reach a high level of awareness of ourselves and live a happier life.
My service and help is also aimed at oncology patients’ relatives who are involved in this life experience.
Testimonials
I started this journey by experimenting on myself, to be the first witness of these teachings. My life has paradoxically changed for the better. Even though I have had to face several relapses, my mood has always been high and appreciating the present moment makes me live the day with the awareness that it could be the last, and therefore lived to the fullest and in the best possible way. The people I have helped in this period have all received an improvement in accepting their body, the pain and the transformation that the disease brings with it. They have improved their lifestyle and understood the importance of practicing Yoga and sound healing.
What do we need the most?
