The real juice in Kundalini Yoga comes from developing a consistent sadhana, or daily spiritual practice. Most of us are not blessed with the opportunity to do a full 2 ½ hour sadhana with a community of Kundalini yogis every morning. We practice when we can, individually or with a small group.
This month we’ll focus on ways to establish a new practice, deepen our commitment to daily practice; overcome ‘friction points’—the things that ‘get in the way’ of practice; and keep our practice vital, relevant, and fresh.
“Develop a regular sadhana and you take control of your life. Develop a deep sadhana and you open the doors of experience. Commit to meet your higher Self each morning and your decisions and your life become original; your life will bear the signature of your soul; your radiance will express the meaningful intimacy of the Infinite in each moment. Immerse yourself in the joy of victory that comes from starting each day with a powerful sadhana and every challenge becomes opportunity.”

Caliber for Constant Self-Authority
Caliber is the ability to maintain the projection of our committed self. When we become our own directive authority, then the psyche can fulfill the self. This meditation enhances your capacity for caliber—to hold and execute self-authority.
Long Ek Ong Kars
This mantra is one of the 7 mantras of the Aquarian Sadhana. It is known as the Ashtang Mantra for the Aquarian Age. It will open the solar plexus, which in turn will charge the solar centers. It is said that one will get connected with the Cosmic Energy, and thus will be liberated from the cycle of time and karma. Those who meditate on this mantra in silence will charge their solar centers and be one with the Divine. A favorite of many.
Master’s Touch Meditation
This is a particularly potent kriya, powerful in its ability to break through negative blocks and connect you to your highest truth, the Master within. To grow roots, you must open yourself up. When you find your soul, your Self, you are complete.
Meditation for the Heart Center
This 11 minute meditation strengthens the Heart Chakra. “Hate nobody; love everybody. It won’t cost you anything. Love never costs anything. Love is the most selfish act. It gives you so much protection, grace, and radiance. It doesn’t give you any smallness or suffering. Do not seek anything from people. Give love instead, and rely on God.”
-Yogi Bhajan
The Caliber of Life Meditation to Totally Recharge You
This meditation can form the basis of an extraordinary sadhana. It adjusts the projection and command of the breath. It improves the caliber of your capacity to reach excellence in life. It is known to conquer normal depression and discouragement. It builds tremendous strength into the nervous system. This is the kind of meditation that must be cultivated and built up gradually.
Meditation for Maturity and Wisdom
Your handicaps travel ahead of you, and your reputation is known before you even reach a place. So it is very beautiful for humans to drop their past, change their attitude, have an altitude, and make sense to themselves. Then everybody can understand that you are beautiful, bountiful and blissful, trustworthy, gracious, with divinity and dignity, and you can be a friend unto Infinity. You must understand: there is no prize which can give you back your honor.
Sodarshan Chakra Kriya
This is one of the greatest meditations you can practice. The personal identity is rebuilt, giving the individual a new perspective on the Self. It retrains the mind and can purify your past karma and the subconscious impulses that may block you from fulfilling you. Treat the practice with reverence and increase your depth, dimension, caliber, and happiness. It gives you a new start against all odds.
Meditation to Alleviate Your Stress
This 11 minute meditation is an excellent everyday practice. Done in the evening, it will wash the stress from your body and your aura. You can reclaim yourself, quiet the mind’s noise and open into a profound stillness. A little at a time, with regularity and patience, will add balance to your life.
Long Sat Nam's: Meditation to Completely Neutralize Tension
This is a simple, elegant, and extremely relaxing Kundalini Yoga meditation. It completely neutralizes tension and puts you in the most relaxing situation you can possibly imagine. Practicing it for 40 days is said to revitalize your glandular system and re-establish glandular equilibrium.
