Why get rid of anger? You can never do it. If you ever dare to do it, you will have no digestive system. You know what that means? That means all that energy that has to burn that food has no way to get out.
This pain in you is not in your thoughts, it is your own anger—the same anger, the same heat, the same center of agan granthi, the same heart center which makes you compassionate and kind, digests your food, circulates your blood, and allows your heart to beat. This same center becomes your enemy when you are angry, you are mad, you are out of line, you are out of orbit, you are clashing with everything.
Analyze everything in your life and you will find it was your passion, your insecurity, your anger, your not having an intuitive tomorrow, your inability to see the whole picture, your non-universality—which brought you pain.
Turn anger into humor. Turn insult into a wisdom. Turn defeat into victory. Do not mix the past in the future. Do not react in anger. The idea to meditate is to keep the reactive automatic subconscious pressure clean.
You have to develop an attitude when negative, you automatically pull in equal positive as a habit, and then you have to sit above it as neutral and deal with it. I am, I am. And that is the state of happiness.
Sitali Pranayam has the capacity to control your anger and bring your nervous system from frustration to non-frustration.

In anger you do not speak consciously. Whenever you speak without anger, you have to speak consciously. And when you speak consciously, your consciousness will affect the universal consciousness and whatever you say shall be honored.
In any communication, or in any situation which you cannot confront because it is exaggerating, hot or aggressive, just change your breath. Breathe through the lips instead of through the nostrils. Exhale always through the nostrils. Inhale through the rolled lips and make it slow and long. It will slow everything as required. It will increase your sensitivity. It will give you 10 times more projection over the person you are talking to.

The energy you waste in dramas and traumas and being insecure and being afraid and being emotional and commotional and angry and attached and being sneaky and whatever, that waste is so much that nothing is left of you. Be simple, be straight and do it with a smile. And for that you need strength.
The heat system is what creates anger and controls anger. If you get rid of anger, that means you get rid of the heat and that means no digestion, no circulation, no temperature at all.
Anger is a tattva which comes from the fire within the self. So when there is anger it takes away the heat and the energy of the fire which is in the stomach and the circulation that works for you. If you realize what cost you are paying at that moment of anger, you will never do it.
Yes, you have to be angry—there is no way out. Many of you are married to your own neurosis. You don’t live for you; you live for practicing your neurotic nature. Just flow. If you just flow, you can be successful. Mother Nature will carry you.
If, with the anger and fire I'll not burn out my ego, how I am going to clean the ego of others? If I will not have fire in me, I'll not have zeal. Zeal can be misused; zeal can be used. There is nothing wrong with fire but when it burns your house, it is terrible. But when it cooks your meal it is beautiful.
When we are angry our body temperature rises. Body temperature is maintained by the breath. Breathing through the left nostril is cooling and breathing through the right nostril is warming. Be attached to the goodness of your heart. Be proud that you shall even serve those who slap your face. Be angry when you cannot do what you should be doing. Divert these powers to the highest self of yours. You will never regret it. 12/25/89
Anger makes you less than a human and more of a beast. But if you divert this anger toward your weaknesses, you'll be perfect. In essence you get angry if you do not do what is correct. Anger was meant for self-purification. It was not meant to burn others.
Just as the heat of the sun makes life possible on Earth, the heat of the agni tattva sustains life in the body. The day this internal fire goes out means death to the individual as surely as this world would die if the sun refused to shine. People with a supremacy of this agni tattva are very vigorous, full of perseverance, and become untiring workers. They have a wonderful capacity for leadership and a directness of manner and speech.

Agan Granthi means the place of the fire, a furnace, the heart center, and through this place we circulate our blood, purify our blood, and digest our food. It creates all the juices in us and it's a very beautiful. But, on the other hand, it destroys us. It makes us angry. It makes us limited. It jumps our ego. It makes us non-committed.
