This year at Women’s Camp we offer classes and events with the following experienced, inspiring, and engaging teachers:
Awtar Kaur Khalsa has been living, studying, and teaching in Kundalini Yoga ashrams since 1972. She sat at the feet of Yogi Bhajan with a notebook, timer, and camera, prompting him to remark, “She has perfect notes.” She is a senior teacher trainer and has taught throughout the United States and overseas. Awtar uses generous doses of humor to inspire her students to expand, both in group and private classes. Awtar has been married 30 years and her daughter is also a Kundalini Yoga teacher. Dev Suroop Kaur Khalsa is an accomplished musician, recording artist, and Professional Level Trainer in the KRI Aquarian Trainer Academy. She strives to break it down, keep it real, and guide students to their own empowered authenticity. Blessed to study directly with Yogi Bhajan for most of her adult life, she gratefully shares what she has learned and continues to learn about how to love, work, and live better in the world. Deva Kaur Khalsa (Florida) met Yogi Bhajan in 1972, and found Kundalini Yoga gave her such an immediate and complete sense of inner stillness that she started her life long journey of studying with Yogi Bhajan and teaching this ancient, sacred science. Deva began training teachers with the KRI certified Aquarian Teacher Program in 1996. Yogi Bhajan’s teachings for women are one of her great passions, as they are a feasible way to create peace on this planet. Deva Kaur travels to teach, and to participate as a member of the KRI Teacher Training Executive Council, as well as the KRI Board of Directors. Haridass Kaur’s focus is on biomechanics, diaphragmatic breath, and Kundalini Yoga to alleviate Chronic Pain. She is an instructor of Shiatsu Massage and energetic bodywork. She integrates her many years of clinical experience with her deep knowledge of the body in Western and Yogic Anatomy courses. Haridass is a familiar face to the international Kundalini Yoga scene. She specializes in FUN! She holds a strong presence at International Women’s Camp for the past three years. She frequents both solstices, the European, German, and Swedish Yoga festivals and 21 Stages in the Netherlands. She is sharing the teachings of Yogi Bhajan as a KRI certified Professional Trainer.
Mukta Kaur Khalsa, Ph.D. was trained personally by Yogi Bhajan in SuperHealth therapies for 30 years and served as his Secretary of Foreign Affairs for 11 years. The sensitivity and insight she obtained gives her a unique ability to blend yogic science with health and healing. As a clinician and healer, Mukta teaches how physical and emotional ailments parallel spiritual challenge and opportunity.
