What does it mean to be an Infinite being in a woman’s body? What is the divine feminine presence, and does it exclusively belong to women? Why did Yogi Bhajan develop a set of teachings exclusively for women, and what is their relevance on the cusp of the Aquarian Age?
This year’s theme is Creativity, which is at the heart of a woman’s nature and also the heart of the five year International Women’s Camp series leading up the Aquarian Age. All five themes are dedicated to female empowerment: Kindness, Compassion, Creativity, Courage, and Majesty.
Creativity comes from stillness. At the moment between the inhale and exhale of the breath, you are between formless and form. In that moment of stillness —you can create. ~ Yogi Bhajan
As a community of women we will explore the theme of Creativity through intense yoga; through expert instruction and intimate group processing led by top International teachers; via regular morning group Sadhana and Gurdwara; and in the sharing of delicious vegetarian food and Yogi tea. Creative activities during the event will include dancing, chanting, visual art projects, Ghatka, musical performances, and selfless service known as Karma Yoga – one of the highest forms of joyful expression.
