Solstice Youth Co-op Program for Non-Tantric Days:  (Mon. 19th  & Tues. 20th )

9:15 – 10:15 am: Solstice Youth Co-op Parent / Guide Karma Yoga Meeting in the Preschool Tent behind the kitchen

  • All parents must attend
  • Have fun learning  about yogic parenting
  • Parents will have the opportunity to meet other parents and maybe set up some co-op child-sitting during the Non-Tantric days
  • Service Exchange participants will be offering yoga and get-to-know-each-other activities and games for children at this time, so bring your kids with you

While there are no other scheduled activities for 2-11 year olds on non-tantric days, children and parents can usually find plenty to do:

Sunset Lake Activities

There will be a lifeguard on duty at the lake from 9 am – 5 pm daily.   Children need to be supervised by their parents. Please do not rely on the Lifeguard for supervision. This means you should be on the beach some place if your child is taking a boat out, and your children should know where you are at all times; if you briefly leave the area where they are playin,g let them know ahead of time where you’ll be.

Children are not allowed out in a canoe or a kayak withouta lifejacket. Please instruct your children on the safety of wearing one. 

Horseback Riding

Children will have a day of horseback riding with the SYC Program but Circle F Dude Ranch is offering additional rides for all attendees. Sign up the whole family or take a ride yourself.

Monday, December 19

Beginner ride: 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
Intermediate ride: 1:30 pm -  2:45 pm   (you must have prior experience for this ride and know how to canter)

$30 per person

Register On-line only. Register for horseback riding when you register for Solstice. If you have already registered, you can go back into your registration form and add in the ride. If you need help with this, contact YogaInfo@3HO.org

Naps

If your young one needs some afternoon down time or a nap please feel free to make use of the Preschool tent, but this is not a drop-off service. We only ask that you please honor our Co-operative spirit and tidy up after yourselves.
