Youth (Walking-17 yrs)

Solstice Youth Camp Co-op (SYCC) Program
The Solstice Youth Camp Co-op Program was designed to create a structure where all parents come together to support the children and the programs with a cooperative and team spirit!
Solstice Youth Camp Co-op Program (SYCC) begins on Sunday, June 17th for teens 12-17 years of age and on Monday, June 18th  for children ages 3 to 11.  An SYCC Program booklet with information about drop off times, etc. will given to each family at Check-In in the Registration Trailer on-site.

For parents with infants to walking there is an air-conditioned trailer (Sukh Nivas) which provides a nurturing environment for parents and their children.

Parents serve their Karma Yoga at SYCC. Each parent or guardian will serve during one day SYCC Parent Meetings will be from 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. daily through the 18th. See Parent drop down for more information.

Parents and guardians need to facilitate the daily care of their children during the days of Solstice when the Camp is not in session. In an effort to assist parents during these days and to help parents with children under 2 we have created a discussion link  in our facebook page.  Here you can try and set up a parent co-op perhaps. The parents can utilize the Sukh Nivas trailer to do their co-op since they don’t have child care or a drop off camp situation as do the other age groups. There is a playground, basketball court, and the pool will be open on Friday, see schedule below. For the naturalists there is lizard catching and hiking around the 100+ acres of Guru Ram Das Puri.

Policies

    • Youth 17 years or under must be accompanied by a parent or acting guardian who is over 25 years of age.
    • A Registration and Release Form must be signed for all children between the ages of 1-17 by a parent or acting guardian. Please print, complete, and bring this form with you to Solstice.
    • In the event that a youth or teen is accompanied by an acting guardian, parents must sign and have notarized an Acting Guardian Authorization Form. Please print, complete, and bring this form with you to Solstice.
    • All youth and teens between the ages of 1-17 must have an Information Form filled out so Team 3HO Foundation is aware of any restrictions or special needs your child may have. Please print, complete, and bring this form with you to Solstice. Youth 17 or under without a parent or guardian will not be allowed entrance into camp.
    • If your child has any medical conditions or medically diagnoised allergies that could result in serious reactions, please fill out this Medical Form so that our First Aide and Children’s Team managers will be aware of these conditions.
