Activating the Lymphatic System for Breast Health ~ Sat Dharam Kaur N.D. (Healing) Water Tent This class provides an introduction to the Healthy Breast Program and an understanding of the lymphatic system through the practice of Har Har Meditation to Stimulate the Lymph, an Exercise Set for the Lymph System, and a Meditation to Develop Self-Reliance. You will learn daily self-care practices and herbal and homeopathic formulas to increase lymphatic circulation and protect breast health. Women’s breasts symbolize the capacity of the Earth to nurture all life, as well as to nourish ourselves and future generations.
Sat Dharam Kaur is a Kundalini Yoga teacher, author, mother of three, and naturopathic doctor practicing in Owen Sound, Ontario. Sat Dharam has studied Kundalini Yoga with Yogi Bhajan since 1979 and has facilitated teacher training programs in Toronto, Canmore, Alberta and New Mexico. She has co-developed a 16 week yoga-based addiction recovery program, as well as a breast health yoga training, designed to help educate women in breast cancer prevention through Kundalini Yoga and lifestyle change. Sat Dharam teaches the Level One transformative 220-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training Program in Toronto and Canmore, Alberta annually, and has completed all of the level two mdules. In 2000, she received the Naturopathic Doctor of the Year Award from the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Sat Dharam has written several best-selling books – A Call to Women: The Healthy Breast Program and Workbook, The Complete Natural Medicine Guide to Breast Cancer and The Complete Natural Medicine Guide to Women’s Health. She is a founding member and president of the Kundalini Yoga Wellness and Health Association, a Toronto based group that develops and markets yoga based health programs.
