Guru Ravi Kaur

December 13, 1950 - September 1, 2011

     Kind, strong, noble, compassionate, intuitive, graceful, dignified, fun-loving…these are some of the many attributes Guru Ravi Kaur showed us during her life. She was a mother to Harbhajan Kaur, friend to many, devoted student of Yogi Bhajan, and daughter of the Guru.

Guru Ravi Kaur began her 3HO journey in Florida, and while she was in college she taught her first Kundalini Yoga class. She attended the first Summer Solstice in 1971 and later moved to Los Angeles. She moved to Tucson in 1991. Guru Ravi Kaur taught Kundalini Yoga in many locations over the last 20 years. She continued to shine at Summer and Winter Solstices, inspiring students to connect to the greater community that is 3HO.

As the Co-founder of Rx-Yoga in Tucson, Arizona, a Senior Kundalini Yoga Teacher/Trainer, and psychotherapist, she inspired many people to contemplate the lessons of the Aquarian Age through Kundalini Yoga and meditation. May her vision of growing community carry on in all who knew her.
