Summer Solstice Sadhana Celebration
Ram Das Puri, Española, New Mexico
June 19 – June 28, 2008
White Tantric Yoga, June 24 – June 26
I Want to Sell at the Bazaar
The Solstice Bazaar is an important part of the Solstice experience that would not be possible without you, our vendors. The bazaar provides a joyful socializing space where people can connect and share in the community spirit of the Summer Solstice Sadhana Celebration. The event is hosted in a high-peaked, spacious white tent with simple overhead lighting provided. We are pleased to share the plan we have developed for renewing and enhancing the bazaar.
We are committed to making the bazaar a successful part of the community experience for all—participants, vendors and 3HO International—through incorporating the high energy of prosperity technology. As a vendor, you benefit from a marketplace of people in tune with merchandise, healing treatment and services that support the 3HO lifestyle. In addition, you have the ability to pay for your Solstice attendance from your bazaar earnings.
3HO International would like the bazaar to become a contributor to the success of Summer Solstice Sadhana Celebration. Our goals are to improve our support to vendors and to make a profit of 100%—a standard business practice—by 2010. Please see the chart below for a quick overview of our financial plan as we move forward.

Our three-year plan reflects our commitment to offering better service for a better Solstice experience:
• 2008: Table spaces will rent for $216 and will include a table and 2 chairs. We will continue to offer a $108 half-table space (a shared 8’ x 2.5’ table and 1 chair). You may bring your own lighting, décor, display cases and clothing racks, as you see fit. Security services will be improved.
• 2009: Spaces will continue to include a table and 2 chairs. This year, however, bazaar spaces will be categorized as premium, standard and discount and be priced accordingly. We feel this will offer flexibility to vendors and contribute to a serene setting-up experience. Security services will be further improved.
• 2010: Individual spaces will be mapped out, given vendors the ability to specify a precise location. Spaces will be rented empty and vendors can choose to set them up with their own equipment or to rent materials such as clothing racks, tables and E-Z UP tents to customize their selling spaces. Security services will be further improved.
We are grateful for your participation in the Solstice Bazaar and look forward to serving you this summer. We welcome your comments and feedback as we grow together in beauty, bounty, bliss and prosperity.
In service,
3HO Solstice Team

Solstice Bazaar Policies
• Reservations for table space at the Solstice Bazaar must be made online.
• Vendors and their staff must be registered participants at Summer Solstice Sadhana Celebration and must complete the registration process on site before setting up in the bazaar.
• Vendors with Service Scholarships need to honor their service duties before attending the bazaar.
• Vendors should park in the general parking area. The area immediately next to the bazaar is designated as a vehicle free area and for emergencies only.
• Hours of operation are posted at Solstice. Vendors may choose their personal hours of operation within the hours posted. Periodically the bazaar will be closed during all-camp gatherings or activities, including tantric days. Some schedule changes may occur, and vendor compliance is kindly requested. Closing time is 9:50 pm daily.
• Table spaces are assigned on-site and subject to reallocation as needed by the Bazaar Manager. Please be respectful of the challenge of taking care of each vendor’s needs for location.
• Products and services sold must be in alignment with the Solstice experience. For this reason, sheepskins are appropriate, but not timeshares and multi-level marketing programs. We understand that this is not always a clear distinction. If you have questions, please contact the Solstice Staff.
• All food sold must support participants in the experience of Solstice, particularly White Tantric Yoga and the special Solstice cleansing diet. Any food products sold must be healthy and free from stimulants such as caffeine and refined sugar. So for example, raw cacao is appropriate, but not chocolate. Only snack-sized portions are permitted. Consider a small bag of chips, a Wha Guru Chew, or a bottle of juice as guides. If you are unsure about whether your product is appropriate, please contact the Solstice Staff.
• All healers who physically touch their clients must be licensed in the state of New Mexico.
• Please bring only low-wattage electronics, as the electrical grid will only support a limited draw.
• Although there is a small service team that is responsible for onsite security, their primary function is to summon professionals in the event of a disturbance. 3HO International cannot be responsible for any missing or stolen items. Plan appropriately to secure your merchandise through the use of tarps, utility clips or locking trunks according to your own judgment and keep all money in a safe place. |
