Taking care of our children’s physical needs is important, but helping them grow spiritually and develop strong character is at least as vital. Yogi Bhajan would often remind us to give our children the values and virtues that will enable them to handle life’s future adversities. As parents, guardians, and caretakers it is our job to shape our children’s values as they grow, to give them a sense of right and wrong, and to provide them with opportunities to develop an inner compass that will guide them through life.

Summer is the perfect time to fan the fire of your child’s spiritual identity and help him or her grow stronger in character. Khalsa Youth Camp (KYC) gives every camper natural opportunities to instill spiritual truth and principles for wise living. Give your child/children a personal experience and understanding of their Spiritual Path.

As we move into the Aquarian Age, we need to raise children who are dependable not dependent. Khalsa Youth Camp is a unique camp, founded on the teachings of the Siri Singh Sahib—Yogi Bhajan—to share his vision of "Building Aquarian Age Leaders of Tomorrow" in a healthy, happy, and sacred outdoor camp environment in the beautiful Northern New Mexico mountains. The outdoor setting, camping in cabins, a delicious vegetarian mealplan, many fun and challenging activities including Outdoor Skills, daily Sikh Dharma class & Gurdwara, Kundalini Yoga & Meditation classes, Martial Arts, Field trips, Community Service & Seva, and Arts & Crafts, are highlights in the unique experience of KYC. Khalsa Youth Camp is an outstanding 2 week program that emphasizes practical achievement and the early development of leadership skills serving children ages 4 through 12. Importance of a 2 week program

Since 1979, KYC has helped children build their confidence, strength and spiritual identity. Hundreds of children and families from all over the world have joined us over the years. We offer family rates and discounts for groups. There are opportunities for teens to work at camp and parents to stay at camp in exchange for seva as well.
