Carrying Us into the Aquarian Age
2009 Focus: The Water Tattva
June 18–27
Guru Ram Das Puri
Española, New Mexico
Celebrate summer's beginning with 8 days of inspiration, growth and renewal. Come together in joy with friends, old and new, as we engage our senses and uplift our spirits through:
- Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan®
- International Peace Prayer Day
- White Tantric Yoga®,
- Annual IKYTA Teachers Conference
- 3HO's 40th Anniversary party
- Daily group Sadhana and Gurdwara, and much more.
2009's Focus is on the Water Tattva. Water rules our second chakra, the seat of creativity, cultivating and celebrating the senses and our ability to actually be real and intimate with another and our own soul. Water is about relationships–with ourselves, with others and with the Divine.
The kriya for 2009 is the Narayan Kriya which moves the passions and opens the heart. It takes away wounds and fills compassion to heal and bless our relationships.

2009 Focus: Kindness
June 28–July 5
Shakti Valley at
Guru Ram Das Puri
Española, New Mexico
Join women from around the world to experience the depth of Kindness the universe has to offer you in every gesture—come and be a part of the dance; the meditation and the yoga; the service and the sadhana; the healing and devotion, the discovery and the depth.
2009's Focus is on Kindness. Kindness is the act of recognizing that another person IS your OWN kind. Kindness is an aspect of Sat Nam, as we cultivate identification with our own Self and the Self in others. Sat Nam is an acceptance of all that is. Kindness is love and a lack of separation and a feeling of being in-kind with others. This is a feeling of universal kindness, recognizing that everyone is part of you. Kindness is the natural expression of the first Sutra of the Aquarian Age: “Recognize that the other person is you.”
