The 40 days immediately after White Tantric and Solstice Sadhana are a special time to work on the self and process the transformative, cleansing energy of White Tantric Yoga®. Relaxing To Sleep

The following routine can help you fall asleep more quickly, sleep more soundly, and ensure a more rejuvenating sleep.

1. Exercise. Do some yoga and meditation to help relax the body and process the stresses of the day.

2. No big meals. It is easier on the liver and digestion if you have not eaten a heavy meal for at least two hours. Neither is it good idea to go to bed too hungry, since this might wake you up in the middle of the night.

3. Comb your hair down with a wooden comb.

4. Do your bathroom routine. Void the urine. Brush your teeth and clean the mucus from the throat until your eyes begin to water.

5. Drink a glass of water.

6. Wash you feet. With cold water, rub them with a coarse towel, and massage them with almond oil. While doing this process, separate yourself into the One Creative Cosmic Power.

7. Your bed. It is best for your back and for proper sleep to use a firm bed, and bedding of natural fabric. Have your bed facing East-West, so that you are not aligned with the Earth’s magnetic field.

8. Lie Down on your back and start long deep breathing, consciously relaxing and letting go.

9. Turn onto you right side as you relax into sleep, so that you are breathing through your left nostril, which brings a calming and cooling effect on the body and brain. It also relaxes the heart and let the stomach and small intestine drains you sleep.

As soon as the breath becomes regular and slow, you will go quickly through the preliminary stages of sleep and almost immediately reach the deep dreamless sleep state, avoiding the energy draining dream stage altogether. Plus you’ll be able to come back out of sleep more easily and gracefully when it’s time to wake up.

Sugarcane Rice Pudding

Healing

Fresh Sugarcane juice
Cooked Rice
1 Tbsp French or Kashmir Saffron
3/4 Cups Milk
Homemade Yoghurt

Take four parts sugarcane juice and one part rice and make it into pudding. Make it during the day and leave it overnight. If it is properly made the top will be a little black. This should be removed to uncover the underlying whitish pudding. That same night, put the French or Kashmir saffron to soak overnight in the milk. Saffron has to soak in milk to bring out its essence; this is then blended with homemade yoghurt. Lastly, mix the yellowish yoghurt and rice pudding together. Eat this to your fill in the morning and except milk, eat nothing else the rest of the day. Do not do this for more than seven days or you will not be in a position to touch the earth. There's no point in flying.

Recently the lesson in life seams to be that everything is in constant change; thankfully I am learning this lesson through the hand of a tactful teacher, Life. Regarding my stay in Italy, everything had been planned to embark on a Greek journey after a brief stay in Puglia, as life would have it, my destiny did not proceed as planned. After arriving in Otranto, Puglia, Adair and I soon realized that there where no ships to Greece from there, even though our travel guide had specifically pin pointed this location as ideal for traveling there. In addition Otranto received us with such a resonance that we both felt as if it where alive and had been calling to us. Time gradually carried on in Otranto and from the original plan of remaining for one day, we finally arrived to the total of eight.

Now after accepting the fact that I am to remain, I realize that nothing could have been planned better. By staying here I will not only get to absorb a deeper experience of Italy and its language, but I will also have the opportunity to visit Bhajan Kaur who is the 3HO General Manager and close friend, who will be arriving in Italy after the European Yoga Festival in France.

My prayers to you, who remain in light and experience its fullness.
