This is a pain to do if your room cannot accomodate the bed this way. Is this imperative to full realms of mental happiness?

I've found that the quality of my sleep is affected by changing orientation. But if I stick with a particular one (e.g. east-to-west) for an extended time, I get used to it.

Maybe we should experiment and see how sleep is affected by the angle.

Thats interesting because I've heard that you want to sleep with your feet facing North. I think we should listen to our own self and what feels best for you!

As I understand it, that is the general advice given to us by Yogiji... try it and see how you feel.

I had no idea- being relatively new to Kundalini- that direction of sleep made a difference. However, by coincidence I have noticed that I currently sleep with my feet West- and at this time I have never had such a time of good sleep. I was a long time insomniac for many years, I am interested to whorl out which direction my bed was facing then!

Interesting and useful discussion. I needed it, proper sleep is so necessary for getting maximum fitness. I love sleeping but due to tough routine I can't enjoy it.
