Experience the Bountiful Beauty of the Portland Community


The rapidly growing Portland Community comes together with the intention to create a collective vision and shared leadership for where they are going and growing as a commuinty. Following the wisdom of the Siri Siing Sahib telling us; If you want to go somewhere first you have to have the vision of where you are going, then give the rest to the Universe to figure out, the community created a group vision.



Hari Dass Singh & Holy Kaur (on the left) have lovingly nurtured the community for about 30 years. This gathering was a great opportunity for the elders, or wisdomkeepers of the community to collaborate with many rising stars in the community. The beauty of the Leadership Hari Dass & Holy Kaur bring forth shows itself in the next generation as there is great space for creativity of each person to come forth while at the same time being connected to the root and legacy of the community. Modeled beautifully in this communiyt is the relationship between generations of emerging leaders.

This is the Sadhana room and Gurdwara within the home of Hari Dass Singh and Holy Kaur. Morning Sadhana happens daily with Japji, Kundalini Yoga & Hukam. On Sunday's there is a Gurdwara & pancake breakfast prepared by Hari Dass Singh to complere Sadhana. The community has grown so much that a bigger space is needed so. One of the main areas that grew out of the visioining process is around the creation of a Yoga Center & Gurdwara to serve the needs of the growing community and open its doors to more people who would enjoy to partidipate.

Hari Nam Singh - Anothe Great Community Leader & Senior Teacher that has been in Portland for about 30 years. Hari Nam Singh inspires many people as a dynamic teacher of Kundailin Yoga and Sikh Dharma. He often travels and teaches throughout South America. He is know for his insight, wisdom, guidance and humor.
