3HO as a United Nations Non-Governmental Organization

As an organization supporting world peace and harmony, in 1996, the 3HO Foundation was selected to become a member of the prestigious United Nations, Non-Governmental Organizations, NGO. It has achieved the status of a roster member of the Economic and Social Council of the UN NGO. In 2000, we were also named as an NGO associated with the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI). As a result, 3HO advises the Secretary General of the UN on matters pertaining to education, economics, woman’s issues, and health and participates in conferences worldwide.

Recent activities include participation in the Women’s Conference in China, the International Conference On Population and Development in Cairo, the International Religious Interfaith Council in Rome, the Women of Vision for Leadership for a New World Conference at Georgetown University, and the International Yoga for Peace Conference in Jerusalem. In addition, Yogi Bhajan conducted a training program for health care and law enforcement professionals from Honduras, El Salvador, and Mexico. 3HO has also conducted training in the SuperHealth addiction control program with 50 members of the US State Department.
