IKYTA is a global association of Kundalini Yoga teachers serving each other’s professional and spiritual growth, networking (connecting) with each other and building Aquarian community and unity through teaching, practicing and sharing Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.

Reports To: IKYTA Executive Director, Guruka Kaur Khalsa
Job Summary:
We are looking for a IKYTA Membership & Office Coordinator to join the IKYTA team. Successful candidates will render a variety of customer services to the global community of Kundalini Yoga teachers. Ideal candidates will pride themselves on their professionalism, are outgoing, personable, a good conversationalist and enjoy being on a mission of service.
Description
Administration Duties
• Answers phone and emails daily and stays current
• Sends out ongoing group emails
• Keeps membership database accurate and current
• Ongoing creative input for website development and enhancement
• Process all deposits
• Manage EFT Database
• Enter Gurudakshina in Database
• Coordinate 4 -5 Gurudakshina mailings annually and process annual thank you letters
Membership Campaign and Benefits
• Manage the annual membership campaign and seasonal staff
• Work with Marketing on partnerships that serve our teachers
• Coordinate quarterly Kundalini Rising enewsletters
Other Duties:
• Secretary to Global Teacher Council meetings
• Keep things organized in the office when Executive Director is traveling
• Assist with IKYTA annual teacher conferences
• Managing IKYTA booth space at Solstices
• Special projects as assigned
Requirements
• Demonstrate passion for the 3HO lifestyle, preferably a Kundalini Yoga teacher
• Must be a US citizen or have a working visa
• Personable and friendly
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized
• Creative and a skillful problem solver
• Ability to lead independently and work in a team environment
• Comfortable using computer and experience with MS Office & Windows
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
