Yogi Bhajan on Empowerment
“The fundamental principle for every woman to remember in the very depth of her heart is that she is a woman and she is creative. In her creativity flows the will of God. Let your ego not separate you. Let your ego not make you weak. Let your frustration and anger not make you blind. You are required by the very presence of your own divinity to maintain your own grace.
These are two secret fundamental criteria of a divine woman. She always feels the presence of God and she always dedicates every action to God.
Now there are four things. Your dress should be divine. Instead of gaudy apparels, wear Godly apparels. If you have been misplaced, at least do not let your daughters do this wrong. Second thing is your language. Within every eight sentences, dedicate your language to God. What are those two qualities? Now, in the end I said something very nice to you. You are the creativity of God, and dedicate all your actions to God. First, dedicate your language to God. Second, dedicate your actions to God. Do you understand these four principles of a divine woman? Never go anywhere where you cannot be sure that your grace shall be maintained. Dress yourself gracefully, always utter a graceful language, always feel that the creative Grace of God flows through you, and dedicate all your actions to God.
A woman who can do these four things, say all scriptures,is nothing but divine, divine, divine, divine, divine, divine. You do not need liberation. You can create a God. You created Jesus, you created Buddha, you created Rama, you created Krishna, you created Guru Nanak and you shall create everything. When God wants to come in the human body, he has to choose a woman. This position of yours can never be taken away from you. These are the four secrets and sacred principles for every woman to remember. Try to understand.
The last sentence of mine today is: a woman who knows how to save her grace can always uplift the humanity. The next sentence shall be scripture: the humanity in its dignity and divinity lives because of the graceful woman. I am not talking of the humanity who boozes, the gamblers, the thieves. They are humanity too, but that humanity is a polarity. I am talking of the divine sect of the humanity that lives. Whatever is left out is because of the grace of the woman.
Once I said there shall be no peace on earth if the born of woman will not recognize the divinity of the woman. Thank you very much for your kind patience.”

Short Quotes From Yogi Bhajan
“Nobody can tell you what to do. But if you want a happy life, you have to become a very simple, solid, neutral, well-mannered, and loving person. It is your manners which will decide you. If you act cheaply, cheap you will be. If you act priceless, infinite you will be. This is a very simple formula of life, and it will never change for any reason. There’s no shortcut to life. People who indulge into the lower chakras have never reached the heart chakra, and people who are stuck in the higher chakras, yet never reach the lower chakras are called spaced out. There has to be that balance. In this balance, you have to bounce in life with joy. And remember that your strength lies in your smiles and your song.”
~ Yogi Bhajan, Women-In-Training, 1998
“We normally do not understand our power. Because of the fashion, because of the surroundings, because of this and that, because of something, you feel limited. There is no such thing to feel limited. The idea to feel limited is a very simple idea because you are not sure whether you are positive or negative. Mind in essence is given to you for experience. Mind can be prosperous so that life can be prosperous, therefore mind must be asked to look to infinity. When the life becomes an infinity, life becomes real. Without infinity, life is not real at all.
Therefore, each living human being has to become disciple. When each individual becomes the disciple, he learns the discipline. While learning the discipline, there are two things. One is an experience which you know and the other is an experience which you don't know. The experience you don't know can cause a fear and destruction."
~ Yogi Bhajan, Women-In-Training, 1975
“This gross body is just like the wooden structure around the almond. The wooden structure doesn't have the quality of the almond but without this, the inner almond will not give you oil, food, nutrition, or anything. They are interdependent. You are complete, and you are incomplete at the same time. You should use the body as a cover. But what do you do? You use the body as a reality. Your future does not lie in your parents, in your country, in your environments. They are the body. Your future lies in the Light of Infinity that is God. The inside kernel of the almond and the wooden structure, the cover, of the almond are interrelated as your life and your physical world are interrelated. That is the relationship between the Aatma and Pramaatmaa, soul and the Infinite Soul. You are the earth and you are the creator of the earth.”
~Yogi Bhajan, Women-In-Training, 1978
"The sign of nobility is that it has a deep effect in relationship with any person one comes across. They say nobility is a virtue which affects every soul. It is a virtue which affects every soul just as innocence affects every heart. Woman has only one virtue: she is noble in the beginning and noble until her death. People do hanky panky along the way. They pollute their virtue of nobility. If nobility is ever precious to a person, that one will never, ever put himself or herself down the tub for any reason, for any argument, concept, thought or feeling whatsoever. Because nobility is like a mirror, once a crack is in it, the entire image is distorted. Noble habits, noble language, noble behavior, noble posture, and a noble way of communication are so powerfully impressive that even an enemy's heart can be melted.
The soul is always noble. When the mind relates to the soul, the mind becomes noble. When the body relates to such a mind, the body becomes noble. Nobility is the outcome of divinity in equilibrium. The divinity is the physical, mental and spiritual selves.
STUDENT: Is a noble woman different from a graceful woman?
YOGI BHAJAN: Nobility is the foundation of every grace. Somebody once asked, "Please define a noble person." The definition came and the answer was: "Noble is noble in the beginning, in the end, and remains noble through time and space, beyond and within. There is no era which is left. Nobility is a virtue; it is a fountain from which grace springs."
STUDENT: How does one cultivate nobility?
YOGI BHAJAN: Nobility is cultivated only when you consciously relate to your spirit and flow of the soul and you feel the total divinity within. It is a manifestation of divinity. Nobility takes you away from temptation, anger, lust, greed, unvirtuous and unrighteous living. It gives you a qualifying factor to impress everybody without impressing. That is the beauty of nobility. The way you talk, walk, see, deal, serve, and get served, is a total sum of your living behavior. There is a tremendous spirit, a tremendous flow of spirit, in a noble person. A noble person is a very powerful individual. “Every human has emotions, feelings and desires. This is a straight law of life. But on the other hand, a human can act with wisdom. Wisdom means a comprehensive state of identity. Wisdom means your total awareness of your environments, total balance of your life and total need of your circumstances."
~ Yogi Bhajan, Woman-In-Training, July 3, 1978
"If you do not want to deal with the totality, you will never deal with reality. If you will not deal comprehensively and compromise your emotions and feelings and desires, your ego, you are gong to have a bad time. There is nothing I can do: all I know is you are asking for it. You will suffer, no doubt. If you are a mother, your children will suffer. If you are working, then your work will suffer. Then you shall add suffering to everything.
I repeat: There is no human who doesn’t have intellect and doesn’t have thoughts and doesn’t have feelings and doesn’t have emotions and doesn’t have desires. That’s true.
But, as a human, you cannot act. You have to act wisely and you have to act as a total comprehensive unit, not as a competing and comparative unit. That’s the only difference. There’s no need to have all secretiveness and all sacredness around, and you may not have time to learn every trick of the trade. But the moment you start competing and comparing, you’ll be insecure and foolish. Granted. Because you will have no grounds.
The time you waste in covering your insecurity, that time will be wasted to default your actions. So fully understand that you are one unit. I will go to the extent to say that it doesn’t matter whether you are good or bad. It doesn’t matter whether you are fortunate or unfortunate.
But understand something. We had two world wars; we killed millions of people. Millions got killed. What was the net results? Afterwards, we came to the peace agreement and we got the League of Nations. And then always, always it comes to negotiation.
Life is nothing but a negotiation. And negotiation can never be a compromise; it is always comprehensive, detailed. But if you are a complete unit, then your definitely know what you want and how much you want and what is good for you.
But once you have a posture of a comprehensive woman, everybody will admire you. Everybody will trust you. And then you can get away with a lot of things!
Nothing is important in this life, I tell you, except where you are trusted or you are not trusted. That’s all that is important.”
